1. We’re socialists. I once summoned the courage to audit a College Republicans meeting. As fate had it, I snuck into the back of the HAWC just as who I presume is their leader held up a copy of the Graphic and proceeded to educate members on how exactly we push our socialist agenda. The point in case? Keith...

1. Taylor Swift. Girls who don’t now how it feels to get dumped and boys who know the feeling all too well.
2. Death Cab for Cutie. People who quote lyrics in their Facebook statuses.
3. Radiohead. Everyone.
4. Drake. Indie rap fans who detest that he’s gone mainstream.

Graphic fail
For the past two weeks, I have started my regular piece for the Graphic called “Top 10.” Just like it sounds, it’s a weekly themed list. For some odd reason, they haven’t been posted to the Web site. Until I chat with the managing editor and try to get them posted, I’ll at least get them out to my followers. Stay tuned.

Bonjour la Suisse.
I just received my acceptance letter to Pepperdine’s study abroad program in Lausanne, Switzerland. I’m signing my contract this week and I say “au revoir” in September without the intention of returning to the etats unis until April. Hell. Yes.
For those of you who have asked, Lausanne is located: in the Swiss Alps, on Lake Geneva, only 30 minutes driving from Geneva,...

This isn’t really a question, actually. I just wanted to say that you inspire me so much. I read your Tumblr and even though you make me monstrously jealous, you inspire me.
And your Graphic articles are fantastic. Truly amazing.
Thanks Kim. That means so much coming from you. Please get a tumblr!

how’s college life?
It’s currently draining: one long to-do list, and I’m sitting here wasting time.
I’ve gotta finish my study abroad application, write two articles for the paper, do three econ homework assignments and read for a quiz in journalism tomorrow… I better get some coffee.
Otherwise, it’s wonderful and stress-free and I highly...

The reason I change shoes 20 times before I leave in the morning, the reason none of them look right… I hate wearing flats. I would wear heels every day — if only Pepperdine didn’t have such hilly terrain.
Note to self: Must live somewhere flatter and urban where ridiculously overpriced, delicious, sexy heels are appropriate on a day-to-day basis.

“Around 4 p.m., I saw a weird Facebook status update from a friend, a journalist turned lawyer whose writing is usually smart, grammatical, and comprehensible. The update read, “rose and lavender paisley.” Huh? Over the next seven hours, more than half the status updates in my feed turned out to be colors, mostly pink, beige, and black. I figured out that these were colors of bras. Then...
